MIA’s products all have one thing in common: they are made with the hands of skilled artisans. Most of them have learned some of the oldest making techniques from their fathers and grandfathers, and keep passing them on to future generations.

These artisans respect traditional methods of production and most importantly favour quality over quantity. Their beautiful creations are the result of meticulous and intricate craftsmanship that often involves hours of intense labour.

At MIA we strongly believe that Asia’s rich crafts heritage has to be preserved and supported, hence we choose to work only with local artisans and small laboratories from various countries including Vietnam, Cambodia and Nepal.
