In May 2010 MIA donated a 'reading corner' to Yu Dong He Elementary School in Ningshan County, Shaanxi Province, China.
The donation was made possible through the outstanding work of The Library Project, a charitable organisation that donates libraries to under financed schools and orphanages in China.
The Library Project and MIA believe education is the key motivator to breaking the cycle of poverty that exists in the developing world.
